Erdős Problem #675
No proof or disproof is known, and it isn't known whether a finite computation could settle it.
What the community database records, not our verdict. erdosproblems.com no longer shows statuses (why).
`IsTranslation A n t` says that \(t \geq 1\) and, for all \(1 \leq a \leq n\), \(a \in A\) if and only if \(a + t \in A\).
A set \(A \subseteq \mathbb{N}\) has the translation property if, for every \(n\), there is an integer \(t_n \geq 1\) such that, for all \(1 \leq a \leq n\), \(a \in A\) if and only if \(a + t_n \in A\).
`minTranslation A n` is the least \(t_n \geq 1\) such that, for all \(1 \leq a \leq n\), \(a \in A\) if and only if \(a + t_n \in A\). It is `0` if there is no such \(t_n\).
